Renee K Jones started her professional career in healthcare with a Ph.D. in Public Health. She was Managing Partner of The Sleep Clinic from 2001 until 2009. In 2009, The Sleep Clinic was sold and Jones retired from the healthcare field.

From a young age, Jones loved to draw and paint, but it wasn't until she retired that she was able to really focus on her art. Jones loves to experiment with new techniques using different mediums. Jones' work includes alcohol ink, acrylic, collage, encaustic, oil pastels, leather, and mixed media. Jones has been accepted into both locally and nationally juried art shows. Jones' goal of her paintings is twofold: to challenge herself and to create something that draws people in to view and contemplate her work.

Currently, Jones' work can be seen at the Contemporary Art Gallery in the Paseo Art District of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
